The positive response of citizens to vaccination allows for the gradual implementation of the strategy for the resumption of social activity, restarting the economy and lifting restrictive measures. Our country is getting closer to achieving the goal of vaccination, at least with the first dose, of 65% of the adult population by the end of June. It is characteristic that among the countries of the European Union, Cyprus remains in the first places in terms of vaccine doses (65,35 doses per 100 inhabitants), as a result of the cooperation and responsibility shown by the vast majority of citizens in the efforts to deal with the pandemic.
